WHY ROOTS™ EXISTS

Program Intent

International mobility trains you for logistics, contracts, schooling, housing — but not for the quiet reconfiguration of identity that comes with leaving everything familiar behind.

ROOTS™ was created to support that internal transition with the same rigor companies apply to the external one.

Without that support, the cost is real: well-being, relationships, decision-making, and sense of belonging.

ROOTS™ is for those who refuse to just survive their expatriation — and want to rebuild from the inside out.

THE GOAL

Rebuild identity, belonging, and direction

Not “how do I adapt?” but “who am I becoming, and how do I want to build my life from here?” By the end: confusion becomes clarity, fragmentation becomes integration, survival mode becomes genuine capacity to thrive.

You understand what's been happening inside you.

You recover your internal compass — values, direction, purpose.

You integrate who you're becoming without abandoning who you were.

You design a life that's meaningful, not just functional.

You develop the resources to sustain your growth on your own.

You stop surviving the transition. You begin to lead it.

HOW IT WORKS

The Program from the Inside

  • ROOTS™ is a 12-week, fully personalized 1:1 process — entirely online, in English, Spanish, or French.
  • Sessions are 60–75 minutes, weekly, adapting in real time to your pace, history, family system, professional context, and goals.
  • No two ROOTS™ processes are the same. Because no two transitions are.

DIAGNOSIS — THE ASSESSMENT

A 90-minute diagnostic session, preceded by an intake questionnaire and followed by a personalized written report. It's a real working session — you leave with a clear map of where you are and what you need, whether or not you continue with the full program.

FIVE PHASES

The ROOTS Method

01

RECOGNIZE

Weeks 1–2

Naming what's really happening: visible and invisible losses, migratory grief, identity shifts, and their impact on your relationships.

You replace confusion with clarity.

02

ORIENT

Weeks 3–4

Recovering your internal compass: values, strengths, identity, and purpose — rebuilding direction from the inside out.

You regain a real sense of direction.

03

OWN

Weeks 5–7

Claiming your new identity: self-esteem, confidence, and self-image work to integrate who you're becoming.

Resistance turns into integration.

04

THRIVE

Weeks 8–10

Learning to thrive, not just survive: personal leadership, decision-making, relationships, and life design.

You start actively building this chapter.

05

SUSTAIN

Weeks 11–12

Making it last: emotional regulation tools, resilience, and a personal continuity plan.

Lasting stability, built by you.

Common Questions

Is this therapy, coaching, or something else?

ROOTS™ draws on clinical psychotherapy and expressive methods, but it's not open-ended therapy — it's a structured 12-week process with a defined outcome.

Can my partner or children be included?

Yes. Many ROOTS™ processes include sessions with partners or children when the transition is affecting the whole family system.

What happens after the 12 weeks?

The SUSTAIN phase is designed so you leave with your own tools — not a dependency on ongoing sessions.

Is the Assessment required before starting the full program?

For most people, the Assessment is where we map your specific situation before designing your path together — it's how ROOTS™ stays fully personalized rather than generic. Whether it's the right starting point for you specifically is something we talk through directly on your free call.
